I have a business idea I want to bring to life

Three weeks into my exciting campus experience, I was sitting in the cafeteria when I heard gunshots coming from outside. That single, seemingly peaceful afternoon turned into a bleak nightmare. That would put a taint on my perfect freshman campus experience and mar my memory of it to this day. One day, I was coming out of my Signals and Systems class and thought to myself, I just learned about FFTs and signal processing (some technical stuff) why don't I use that to build a low-cost gunshot detection system? I did exactly that and spent the entire summer building a prototype and refining it. At the height of this work, I was able to publish a blog article in the Maker Pro journal about my implementation.
