I’m already building something and want to take it further
One of the projects I am most proud of is a 7 day global campaign I created inspired by Marilyn Monroe, designed to position and scale a Nigerian fashion designer, Vera, into international visibility and demand. The objective was to reintroduce the iconic Marilyn Monroe gown to U.S. audiences while expanding its global resonance. I recognized the gown already carried emotional and cultural weight, women across the world could see themselves in it, so the strategy focused on positioning, reach, and connection. From the start, this was built for global impact. The messaging and visuals were crafted to resonate across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia including India, the Middle East, and across Africa, including West, East, North, and South Africa. This reach was intentional, centered on femininity, elegance, and aspiration, while elevating a Black designer within a global luxury context. The campaign followed a structured 7 day rollout, each day inspired by iconic Marilyn Monroe moments, translated through a modern lens. The storytelling allowed women across backgrounds to connect with the piece and see themselves in it. The results were immediate and sustained. Within 48 hours, I grew the designer’s audience from 400 to 1,600 followers organically. The campaign generated over 21 gown sales and continues to drive purchases. Launched in August, the campaign is still producing daily engagement, visibility, and sales as of April. This was not a temporary spike, but a system designed to sustain attention and convert over time. During a period of global division, the campaign brought together women and men across cultures through a shared sense of beauty and identity. That level of resonance reinforced the power of intentional storytelling. This project reflects how I operate. I do not just create content, I build strategic systems and narratives that scale globally, drive revenue, and create lasting impact.
