I have not build anything; a nurse for 47 years and witnessed the layout of giving more importance to computer documentation than actual patient care. I want to develop an app that with one click will provide all the necessary charting for a specific unit like ICU, telemetry, medical-surgical units. The required documentations kept adding taking us away from bedside nursing. Most of us nurses have to stay longer after our shift just to complete charting our tasks. Withe combined forces of the involved intelligent minds, anything is possible to build. I know I am of age, 71 years old, but I am currently enrolled in the MBA program and thriving. If given the chance and this project materialize, it will benefit a lot of my co-nurses! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to apply!
