Muhunga Munga
I have a business idea I want to bring to life
My name is Muhunga. I’m Congolese, and I’ve spent time living in South Africa. I’m currently studying Economics and Civil Engineering at Portland Community College. Through these experiences, I’ve seen a consistent gap between talent and opportunity—students have ideas and ambition, but lack structure, access, and real-world application. I’m building a platform designed to unlock student-driven innovation. It presents real-world problems from communities and industries, and incentivizes students to develop practical, well-structured solutions. This shifts learning from theory to action, allowing users to build meaningful portfolios. The platform also includes collaborative spaces for coding and projects, job simulations for hands-on experience, and direct access to internships, mentorships, and fellowships. It features a failure library for learning from past mistakes, peer-to-peer learning networks, and tools for resume feedback and career guidance. By integrating learning, experience, and opportunity into one system, this platform empowers students to graduate with real skills, real experience, and the ability to solve meaningful problems.
