Where they're at

I’m already building something and want to take it further

Something they're proud of

I’m currently building a proof-based development system called Spatial Mentoring. The idea is to help people move from simply saying what they can do (résumés) to actually showing what they can do through real work, progression, and proof. Right now, I’ve started with a hands-on execution model through custom emblem refinishing as a way to create repeatable work, capture it, and track improvement over time. I’ve been documenting the process, identifying mistakes, refining technique, and thinking through how this can become a structured system where students can: • log real work • receive feedback • show progression • build a portfolio of proof What I’m most proud of is that I didn’t start with an app idea — I started by doing the work first so I can build something grounded in real experience. This project is the foundation for what I believe can become a larger platform for skill-based development across trades and beyond.

Model Mentor Lab

Week 2

Model Mentor Lab – Turning learning into proof through projects, mentorship, feedback, and documented growth.

This week I got a little behind, but I still made good progress. I started by sketching out my workflow and sharing it with the mentors and other builders for feedback. Their input helped me refine the idea and led me to try Replit, where I built the first prototype of my web app. I’m excited because it took the concept from a sketch to something tangible that I can continue to develop and test.

Week 3

Project Name: Model Mentor Lab Updated One-Liner: “A system that helps students document real work, capture feedback, prove growth, and create opportunity.”

Week 3 Summary: This week I published my marketing video and shared my first LinkedIn posts documenting Model Mentor Lab. I posted the original sketch alongside screenshots of the working application and public profile. My focus was on turning the concept into something visible and beginning to document the journey publicly so others can see the progression from idea to prototype.
